Lauren Scruggs, the model who survived a terrifying plane-propeller accident, has a new reason to be happy.
The fashion journalist is engaged to her boyfriend, E! News correspondent Jason Kennedy, E! News reported.
Kennedy, who lives in Los Angeles, flew to Scrugg's Dallas home to pop the question. He spelled out "Will you marry me," in candles below the 25-year-old's balcony.
The TV personality announced the engagement on his Instagram account Friday, posting a photo of the picture-perfect proposal.
"Possibly the best night of my life," Scruggs gushed in her own Instagram post.
In December 2011, the fashion blogger lost her left hand and her left eye when she walked into an airplane's propeller. She opened up about the horrific accident in her book, "Still LoLo."
Kennedy, 32, and Scruggs have been together since at least July, when Us Weekly confirmed the two were dating. The two made their long-distance relationship work by traveling between Texas and California to spend time together.
The couple hasn't announced a wedding date, yet.
