Hey there, Ariana! Since the sexy singer took so long to make it to the stage after winning the American Music Award for Favorite New Artist, she didn’t have much time for a speech. Thankfully, she was keeping a rehearsed speech in a trusty location.
A girl’s gotta have a plan at these award shows, right? It was a hectic scene when Ariana Grande won the award for Favorite New Artist at the American Music Awards on Nov. 24, but she took it all in stride, whipping an acceptance speech out of her bra like an old pro.
Ariana Grande Hides Acceptance Speech In Her Bra
Ariana looked absolutely stunning in a red glittery gown — unfortunately, the dress didn’t allow for much mobility. As a result it took the 20-year-old a little long to get to the stage, and before she knew it she only had about 10 seconds to thank everyone.
But with the help of a trusty, written out acceptance speech — that Ariana was stashing in her bra — she managed to ramble off a names of a bunch of people who have helped her get to where she is.
As if there was any doubt that Ariana is a down to earth, humble girl, the way she handled the chaos at the AMAs was so perfect — and adorable!
Ariana Grande’s Big AMAs Night
It was a big night for the singer. Besides winning Favorite New Artist, she also stole the show with a moving performance. Singing “Tattooed Heart” with stark musical accompaniment and only a few backup singers, Ariana took our breath away and proved that she 100 percent deserved the AMA honor.
Good for Ariana! Just by seeing how she handled herself at the AMAs, we can tell she has many great years as a star ahead of her.
