Are Johnny Depp and Amber Heard headed down the aisle?
Heard, 27, sported a sparkler on the ring finger of her left hand earlier this week, causing a flurry of whispers about their possible engagement. Celebuzz first reported their engagement, citing a source close to the family. According to the gossip site, Depp proposed on Christmas Eve but Heard took a while to make up her mind.

"She turned him down before," the source added. "Before she said yes. So she waited and was thinking about it for a long time."
On Friday, Us Weekly reported that it had confirmed the couple's wedding plans through an insider.

"The proposal happened a while ago," one insider told the magazine. "She just didn't wear the ring."
Depp, 50, and Heard met while filming "The Rum Diary." They publicly confirmed that they were dating in June 2012 after Depp and his longtime partner Vanessa Paradis announced their split.
The two are famously private about their personal lives, but attended the 2014 Golden Globe Awards together on Sunday.
Representatives for Depp and Heard did not immediately return the Daily News' request for comment.
