Hunter Hayes stunned at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, Calif. with the debut of his new song, “Invisible.” Hunter hasn’t released a new album since 2011, and fans must have been thrilled to see this new offering from the 22-year-old Grammy-nominated singer.
Hunter Hayes‘ debut album reached the top of the US Country Billboard charts and ever since the release of his last single, “Everybody’s Got Somebody But Me,” fans have been clamoring for more. Well, the wait is over! At the 2014 Grammy Awards, Hunter delivered a truly powerful debut of his new single “Invisible,” which will appear on his forthcoming album due this May. See below for more on his performance and his upcoming album!
Hunter Hayes Performs At The 2014 Grammy Awards
Hunter’s performance of “Invisible” started quietly, with him singing softly along with his piano. As the song got into gear, he left the instrumentals up to his backing band and stood up to make use of the huge Grammys stage — and his presence was truly commanding for a 22-year-old country singer!
His performance was honest and heartfelt as he moved around the stage, belting out this new song that is sure to be a fan (and Billboard!) favorite. With lyrics like:
‘Cause I wanna wrap you up
Wanna kiss your lips
I wanna make you feel wanted
And I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
Yeah, I, I wanna make you feel wanted
We are dying to know who he could possibly be singing about so emotionally! Any guesses, HollywoodLifers? He’s been linked to Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift in the past, but all parties have denied a relationship.
While Hunter did not win for his song “I Want Crazy” in the Best Country Solo Performance category, this performance showed that he clearly deserved to take that statue home with him!
